Lift Truck Parts Representative

As a member of our parts team, you will assist our service technicians and customers by looking up and ordering parts for forklifts and other types of industrial equipment.
Wage: Highly Competitive wage and benefit package directly related to experience.

Shift: M-F 8:00-5:00
Title: Parts Representative (Inside sales)
Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Parts
Reports To: Parts Manager
Essential Functions: Assist customers and technicians with parts needs by using manufacturer portals to identify the correct part number, our business system to assess inventory status, process order and create invoices, shipping/receiving and inventory control.
Other Functions: Perform other related duties as required and outlined in the full job description.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Understanding of industrial equipment components and ability to identify the correct part number.
- Strong attention to technical details.
- Must be able to safely operate lift trucks, and have an acceptable driving record that meets the requirements of our insurance provider.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers (verbally and in writing).
- Basic computer knowledge for email, learning our business software and internet based portals for accessing parts breakdowns and E-learning.
- Valid Class “E” driver’s license
Experience:
- Prior parts experience with automotive, industrial, construction, agricultural equipment preferred.
